2020 Game Day Looks: Volume One
Brian’s season might be canceled this fall, but I’m not going to let that stop me from sharing what I would have worn to games this season. As someone who works from home - even when there isn’t a pandemic - football games are a solid reason to put on a cute outfit and makeup. It’s a regular social event for me in the fall.
I should note you won’t find me wearing school-branded stuff to games. Since we move so frequently (and change schools), I try not to purchase a ton of school-branded gear, but more so opt for items I can add to my closet that I can wear with the rest of my wardrobe beyond football games. I look for solid-colored pieces in school colors from some of my favorite retailers.
This week, it’s the first “game day” of the season, and this is usually a very hot middle of day game, so I opted for a breezy tank top, cute denim cutoffs, comfy shoes for tailgating, and a stadium approved bag. Most of my dark green pieces are not for warmer days, so I opted for a green manicure from Olive & June. The color is WKF. If you want a discount on your Olive & June purchase, you can shop through this link.
Don’t forget a bold lip for fun and your sunscreen! My favorite sunscreen is SuperGoop Unseen Sunscreen and this powder for touch-ups over makeup throughout the day.
