The Good Goods: December 2021

Wow, y’all! I haven’t done a The Good Goods post since March of 2021. I decided 2022 is the year to really hold myself accountable to be consistent here on the blog and with that, I wanted to share my top purchases from the month of December. All items are things I’ve wanted for a long time, help me in my life, or were needs last month.

JCrew Double Breasted Teddy Coat | So technically, I bought this during Black Friday, but I didn’t like my initial color choice of adobe clay on my coloring, so I exchanged it in store for the dusty ivory after the 1st of December, and oh boy it is what my teddy coat dreams are made of. I have wanted a teddy coat for years and this one is wonderful. I’ve received many compliments when wearing it out. It’s not currently on sale in my colorway, but I would definitely keep an eye on it if you are in the market.

Amazon Kindle | So Brian jokes I bought my own Christmas gift, so it’s going on this list. I wanted a Kindle for a while now to help with my reading, and after months of thinking about it, I made the purchase. So far I’ve read two books. I’ve had it for two weeks. That’s quick for me. The ability to easily download the books from my local library and read them not on my phone is wonderful, and I am hoping it helps me reach my goal of reading 20 books this year.

Anine Bing Fishbone Blazer | This was a major splurge for me, but ever since I saw it on Alyson Haley’s Instagram, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I tried my hardest to find a cheaper dupe, but tried probably three different blazers that I didn’t love as much or didn’t fit right. This blazer is the blazer that will make me a blazer girl. I absolutely LOVE it. The fit, the texture, the weight - it’s perfect. It reminds me of something you would find in your mom’s closet that you could wear for years. Here’s another retailer in case your size is sold out on the first link: Anine Bing Fishbone Blazer.

Bio Iconic GrapheneMX 1.25-inch Extended Barrel Curling Iron | My Kristin Ess curling iron died on me a few months ago, and I have been on the hunt for a good curling iron. I didn’t want to buy the same one because it caught my hair every time and it hurt. I tried multiple hot tools options and the T3 one pass but ultimately returned each one. I landed on this one from Bio Iconic and I really love it. It doesn't pull my hair and it’s an extended barrel which makes curling my long hair even easier.

Ilia Lip Wrap Clean Hydrating Lip Mask | I just purchased this lip mask for a second time. The first one lasted 9 months. I keep it in my nightstand and use it before bed to ensure my lips stay hydrated while I sleep. My lips have never felt better. As we get deeper into the colder months, I’ve used it a few times when my lips have felt extra dry and within a couple days my lips are good as new.

Have you tried or own anything above? What were some of your favorite purchases from December?

xx,

Linds
