The Good Goods: January 2022
Dolly Parton Concert Tee | For the longest time, I’ve looked for a vintage-looking concert tee that I wouldn’t feel like a fake wearing. I do love the 80s band tees, but truthfully, I could probably only name one Def Leppard song, so I knew it wasn’t for me. BUT then I saw this Dolly vintage-looking concert tee and I knew I had found the vintage concert tee for me. I love it so much.
Levi’s Ribcage Straight Ankle Jeans | I have wanted a pair of straight-leg jeans for a while now, but my search always left me wanting more or not understanding what shoes to wear with straight-leg jeans. Then one day a kind follower recommended the ribcage straight ankle jeans and they are the ticket. I am tall, so the jeans look cropped on me which I think makes them easier to pair with different shoes. This is my go-to pair of jeans with the “choose joy” boots below. Unfortunately, it looks like the colorway I have, tango gossip, is a bit slim pickings across multiple sites, but I linked a few others colorways in the same style.

Betsey Johnson Cady Boots | The “choose joy” boots HAD to make the list. I’ve worn these bad boys almost any chance I get to leave the house, and they are my favorite shoe I’ve purchased since the Nisolo Amalia boots. The boots are comfy and always start a conversation. I love wearing them with anything and everything. These boots bring me so much joy, and I wish I could buy everyone a pair. They really do bring a smile to your face every time.
Uplift Standing Desk | After over two years of working from home, it was about time to upgrade my desk situation. I am loving my uplift desk. It was relatively easy to put together solo, and it came with so many extras - a standing mat, a balance board, and more - for free. It has been so great for my posture and mental health to have the option to stand instead of slouching over my computer for 8+ hours a day for 5 days a week.
Ninja Blender | We upgraded our blender this month with this blender, food processor, and smooth cup combo, and gosh, why did we wait so long? I love smoothies, but I hated getting the entire blender out just for one smoothie. This comes with individual smoothie ups that fit on a blender blade, so you only dirty what you need. AND we constantly had to improvise when recipes called for a food processor and truthfully, it’s just not something you can improvise.
111 Skin Eye Masks | I was on the hunt for new eye masks for when I travel, and my esthetician Shyloh recommended this brand and I really love them. The blue ones work to eliminate the visible effects of fatigue by alleviating puffiness and dark circles while also improving the resilience of the delicate under-eye area. And the black ones are formulated to combat fine lines, wrinkles, and dehydration around the eye area. These will be a must for any upcoming travel.
Have you tried or own anything above? What were some of your favorite purchases from January?
xx,
Linds
