Style Sessions: Huston Pull-On Crop Pants
When I wrote my post about How to Create a Capsule Wardrobe I included a question in step five that asked, “Does this item go with at least three other things in my closet?”, and recently I started joining in on styling sessions with some of my blogger friends on Instagram. This got me thinking about when I do purchase something new for my closet, I should style it three ways to share how I am really looking for versatile pieces and give you ideas on how to style these pieces.
So without further ado, I styled the Madewell Huston Pull-On Crop Pants in black three different ways before leaving Ohio. My mom found these pants on a trip to Madewell (if you remember my very bad, no good day from two months ago…it ended with finding these pants), and I honestly was shocked at how much I loved them. I’ve been on the hunt for more pants that aren’t jeans, and the Huston Pull-On Crop Pants are so soft, great quality, and super stylish.

For this look, I styled a black and white striped shirt with the Huston Pull-On Crop Pants and black low sandal heels. This outfit was so simple and something I would easily wear to the office then off to date night. I paired it with simple, dainty gold hoops.

This look was my favorite of the three. First, I am a sucker for the Good Vibes tee. I’ve had it for a few years now, but I will always love the message. Second, I could live in my white chucks. Pair both of those items with these amazing pants and you have the comfiest and coolest get-up for running errands, hitting up a local brewery or if you have a more relaxed dress code a chic, yet more casual outfit for work.

Lastly, this look obviously won’t work for Las Vegas, but if I was still in Ohio and we had a cooler day this look would be great for the office. Y’all know I love a good pop of leopard to a look. I feel like it always adds a bit of pizzazz without being too crazy (leopard is a neutral team over here).
I cannot recommend these pants enough. They are the perfect mix of incredibly comfortable and chic and can go from the office to super casual.

Linds
