My Favorite Travel Bag

Today I am sharing one of my favorite discoveries from when I travelled a ton for work and still a tried and true favorite even for personal trips and work needs. I loved the idea of a laptop bag that could easily sit on top of my carry-on to relieve my shoulders from a backpack for trips, but didn’t look like a brief case. I wanted it to look chic and be multi functional - work, play, etc. And I wanted the quality to be on point. I wasn’t interested in buying something that “worked for now” or was “trendy.” Enter the O.G. bag by Lo & Sons.

What sold me on this bag:

Suitcase handle sleeve - Carrying my backpack with my laptop, iPad, book, water bottle and other inflight necessities on my shoulders weekend after weekend or work trips started to have negative affects on my posture. Putting my bag on my suitcase relieved many aches and pains.
Timeless style - The bags look so chic. I wanted to find a bag that worked for work trips, but also would be something I would carry for other purposes as well. Plus, I wanted/needed it to be something I would use for years to come.
Key leash - Have you ever arrived home from a trip and not been able to locate your keys in your bag? *ensue anxiety/panic* If not, lucky you. But if yes, you know the importance of this feature. Once I park my car my keys go on the hook and do not come off until I arrive home. Easy peasy.
Side pocket - I loved the idea of keeping dirty shoes, wet umbrellas or other items I did not want mixing with my technology in a separate side pocket out of the way. Plus, this pocket can be folded up on the inside when not in use to create more space for your needs.
Pockets on pockets - In addition to the side pocket, this bag has more pockets than you could ever need. There is space for everything. And all the pockets make my type A heart swell with joy.
Quality materials - Lo & Sons bags are so well made. The outside won’t get scratched when placed under the airplane seat or stain for whatever may come your way. And the stitching holds ups so well. For the price, I can tell you the quality is there.

I also want to rave about the customer service. Lo & Sons is a family owned business and they take their customer service very seriously. After five years of traveling and daily trips to the office, my bag started to show some wear on the handles from use. Nothing that made the bag look bad, but something I was interested in fixing if possible to keep the overall timeless style look and feel. When I reached out to the company about possibly having the handles replaced they asked me to send along some images of the “damage” for review. To my surprise, they sent me a new bag free of charge. You read that right. FREE OF CHARGE.

I would have considered myself a Lo & Sons customer for life before the replaced bag, but now my fate is sealed. I will always look to Lo & Sons for my bag needs (p.s. if anyone reading this needs a gift idea I’ve had my eye on the Waverly for a little while now). And I truly believe everyone will love the O.G. bag. Even if you are not a regular at the airport. It is great for daily office commutes as well. My mom is hooked on it, and my cousin used hers as a diaper bag for a couple of years.
