Style Sessions: Leopard Skirt

A couple of weeks ago, I spotted this leopard midi skirt knew I had to have it. I am a firm believer that leopard print is a neutral, so I knew this skirt would go with so many things in my closet.

I partnered with Megan from Budget and Brunch to style our leopard skirts. Be sure to stop by her Instagram, @budgetandbrunch, and blog to see how she styled her skirt.

Now on the looks…

You’ve seen this look on the ‘gram, but it is truly my favorite way to style this skirt. I love dressing things down with a graphic tee, comfy sneakers, and a denim jacket. Comfy and casual are two of my descriptors for my wardrobe and this look accomplishes both.

I recently added this olive turtleneck to my closet. Olive is the color I feel comfortable playing around with and I wanted to pair this skirt with something that wasn’t black, white or grey. Honestly, if red is your color you could replace this top with something red or even blue. Leopard is truly a neutral.

As always, I put together a date night look with this skirt. I love the textures with the velvet and the leather with this look. Also, these shoes are so comfy. I got the lower heel version 1) since I am tall and 2) to make them easier to wear all night.

Move over graphic tee. Hello, graphic sweater. I love this look with a graphic sweater in preparation for the cooler months ahead. This sweater is several years old, but I’ve linked a similar option. This look screams very off duty french girl to me.

I mentioned it got warm again here in Vegas, so in an effort to dress like fall but not sweat my booty off I paired the leopard skirt with my cream sweater tank. Unfortunately, this tank is only available in limited sizes, but I linked two similar options. For the chillier mornings and evenings, I’d wrap up in my denim jacket to add texture to this look.

Earrings are Natalie Borton and unfortunately, not available. But, she does have some items available on Madewell.com or when she launches another collection on her website I have a discount code for you.

So tell me, do you like these looks? What’s your favorite? Tell me in the comments.

xx,

Lindsae
