Lindsae Metz Is Moving To…
This past fall was more stressful than normal for us due to it being Brian's last season as a Graduate Assistant with Ohio University. For some background, the NCAA only allows some one to be a Graduate Assistant (GA) for a football program at any one institution for three seasons. After the three season mark, you either move on to the next university or stay, but move into a full time position.
Going into the football season knowing we would most likely leave the place we've called home for the last three years and the place we met over six years ago was a bit overwhelming and sad, but also exciting at the same time. Brian and I have tried our best to take advantage of everything Athens, Ohio has to offer -- eating at our favorite places, taking our favorite hiking routes, and enjoying as much as we could of this area as possible.
But without further ado, Lindsae Metz (and family) is moving to...
Yep. That’s right! The Metzes are Vegas-bound. Brian accepted a job at UNLV.
Honestly, I was just there this past August to see Shania Twain with some girlfriends and I thought to myself, “how fun would it be if we moved to Vegas?” Well, now I will get to see just how fun calling Vegas home truly will be.
I cannot tell you how excited I am to be near an airport and a Trader Joe’s and a Whole Foods and a hot yoga studio and all of the things that come with a major city. I’ve loved my time in Athens, but I truly thrive in a city. And I cannot wait for the opportunities that await us in the desert.
