The Good Goods: March 2021
When I reflected on my purchases from March and thought about what were the things that I will buy again or will absolutely tell a friend about, I chose five goods that were either an experience or fill a beauty product void.
Promising Young Woman | During my time in quarantine, I rented this movie, and while I don’t like the term “I enjoyed it” due to the subject matter, I was very into this movie. I think Carey Mulligan is phenomenal in this film. And that ending, wow! I had no idea.
Love Languages Game | Another quarantine gem is this question game. Brian and I took turns asking each other questions. It was really nice during a time when we couldn’t sit in the same room. The questions range from light-hearted to heavy, and we really enjoyed getting to know each other more even after seven years together.
VITA LIBERATA Fabulous Self-Tanning Gradual Lotion | As a naturally pale person, I am always on the hunt for a self-tanner that I actually like. I’ve used this one twice, and I owe you a full review. I do really like it. It doesn’t smell like other tanners, and I didn’t have any issues with it coming off on my sheets or clothes. Looking forward to trying it more as the weather warms up.
Bohemian Reves Desert Fleur Botanical Perfume | Ever since I gave up on Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue as a perfume years ago, I have been on the hunt for a new perfume that can be my signature scent. I wanted something that I don’t smell on other people in my life and felt like me. This perfume is amazing. I bought the small roller to test it, but will definitely get the mister when I run out of the roller.
Ilia Lip Wrap Clean Hydrating Lip Mask | I was looking for a new clean lip moisturizer to wear at night to round out my skincare routine, and when I read about this one I knew I wanted to try it. Plus, my friend, @erin.v.stewart, received a sample of it and raved about it. My lips still feel so hydrated the next morning. I bought this lip brush to keep with it, so I don’t have to dip my finger into the product. Let’s keep germs out of our beauty items y’all.
