Style Sessions: Graphic Tees
It’s been a weird time over the last few weeks, and at first, I stayed in my pajamas most days since I wasn’t leaving the house. However, I noticed that if I change out of my sleep comfies into my day comfies I am much more productive. So enter the graphic tee. Still comfy, but looks a bit more like In tried since it’s not part of my pajama drawer.
I teamed up with two of my favorite ladies on Instagram (and in real life) - Adriana and Erin - to share how we are style a graphic tee. My looks range from comfy to casual night out on the town (for when we can do that again).
Unfortunately, my graphic tee is sold out, but I linked a few similar graphic tees I have my eye on if you’re in the market for one. I’ve linked everything or similar items below each look and in the LikeToKnow. It app if you prefer to shop there.
SoldOut NYC Ceiling Schmeiling Tee
Jewelry throughout linked here: first hole earrings, second hole earrings or similar, and necklace. And here are the links for my rug and rug pad.
look one
coatigan // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // leggings // slippers // shoes // mug
Super easy and comfy look for chillier mornings or lounging around the house during this WFH time. But change the shoes to leather loafers and voila, you’re ready to leave the house looking put together.
look two
jacket // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // joggers: sold out // slippers // shoes // mug
I saw these leopard joggers when I was helping a friend source some postpartum acceptable pants to wear, and instantly knew I had to have them for myself. I can’t find any that I feel good about linking - price or quality, but I will keep an eye out. I love that a quick shoe change and a jacket make this an acceptable dog walking look. P.S. I sized down in a men’s denim jacket to avoid the cropped arms.
look three
jacket // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // jeans: similar // heels
This look is cool yet comfy. My heels are currently 30% off and are true to size. I picked them up right before self-isolation started, so I cannot wait to wear them out.
look four
jacket: denim and similar leather // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // skirt // shoes // heels: similar
I love how changing the jackets and the shoes make this look go from day to a casual night out. This leopard skirt I am in love with is restocked in all sizes. My leather jacket is from Italy and not linkable, BUT I found a Blank NYC leather moto jacket on sale for less than $60.
coatigan // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // joggers: similar // slippers // mug
Take look #1, but make it even more casual. I have definitely rocked this look in the last week or so to WFH.
sweatshirt // top: SoldOut NYC, but no longer available // jeans: similar // shoes
This is my favorite look for the bunch because it brings in the tie-dye trend, but also is very much a look I would wear anyway. Also, these jeans are a few years old from Madewell, but the knee holes were getting a bit out of hand (exhibit A). But otherwise, they were in good shape, so I sent them off to be mended by Madewell. If you’re an insider, you have access to this free service as well, and I highly recommend it.
Which look would you rock with a graphic tee?
