I don’t consider myself a beauty guru, but I do feel I have found some tried and true products that keep my hair healthy and my skin glowy. You’ll find a few hair products, a couple fave lipsticks and a whole lot of skin products I keep returning to time and time again.

products i love:

Lisse Luxe Hair Turban - If you wash your hair, get this. I originally purchased a knock off version on Amazon, but it fell apart within weeks. This has helped me reduce frizz and cut down on drying time.

Small Slip Scrunchies - I was skeptical due to the hype around Slip products, but I love these little scrunchies. They are so easy on my hair, and don’t pull or snag hair when I take them out. I have thick hair and the small holds my hair really well.

Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen - I love this stuff. I wear it everyday after my skincare routine regardless if I am leaving the house. My home office is next to a window, so I need that SPF protection to keep up this youthful glow. It’s not cake-y and your makeup will still go on smooth.

Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder - I love to keep the translucent powder in my purse when I am going to be out all day to easily add SPF coverage over my make up without altering the color of my makeup. This is such a good staple to have on hand all year round.

Ren Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm - If you live anywhere remotely dry - year round dry climate, dry winters - you need this balm. I used it with regularity while living in Vegas due to the constant dry weather, and I have since dialed back now that we are in Ohio where it is a bit more humid. But I know once winter rolls around it will come off the bench to do a lot of heavy lifting.

Lawless Soft Matte Liquid Lipstick - I love this lipstick in Prince. It’s a great rich berry color. I love this product because it gives me a bold lip that lasts all night, but it’s safe

RMS Beauty Lip2Cheek - This is a great tint for lips and cheeks. I like to wear this when I am looking for something more natural on my lips. However, you do need a lip brush to apply.

The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution - Don’t let the word peeling scare you. I promise your skin will not peel with this mask. It’s a deep red color, so be prepared to look a bit like a vampire (as seen in the photo above). This smooths your face for a more radiant look. And for the price ($7.20), you just can’t beat this!

Josie Maran Argan Infinity Cream Intensive Creamy Oil - I love to slather this stuff on my hands before bed when they are feeling particularly dry. It feels so luxurious.

new products i ordered:

Oplaex No. 7 Bonding Oil - I have been in need of a hair serum to help strengthen and protect my hair from my favorite hot tools. Hoping this delivers on increasing shine, softness, and color vibrancy, while minimizing flyaways.

Briogeo Scalp Revival Charcoal + Coconut Oil Micro-exfoliating Shampoo - Moving really has a way of f’ing with your skin, and your scalp is no different. My hair took a bit of time to get used to the dry environment in Vegas and now it appears to not remember what it is like to live in Ohio. I’m hoping to give my scalp a fresh start after incorporating this product into my routine.

PRIMA Night Magic Intensive CBD Face Oil for Moisture & Radiance - I added a sample of this to my cart (for free) and I am very excited to test it out. Face oil is a MUST to add to your moisturizer during your skin care routine. It is described as “magic in a bottle” and I don’t know about you, but I could use some of that right now.

what would i focus on:

Skincare, skincare, skincare. As I mentioned above, I wish I would have taken skincare more seriously at a younger age, but alas I was in my late twenties when it became of the utmost importance. Start now. You’ll thank yourself for it later. When I take care of my skin, I want to wear less makeup, so I invest in my skincare routine.

Plus, why not use the shelter-in-place order as the time to pamper yourself. My skincare routine as become some a medi practicetative for me that I don’t feel like I sleep as well when I don’t complete the whole process.

If my budget for the sale is $100, I would snag the following products: Lisse Luxe Hair Turban, Supergoop! Unseen Sunscreen, Ren Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm, and The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution.

If my budget for the sale is $50, I would snag the following products: Ren Evercalm Overnight Recovery Balm, and The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling Solution.

Happy shopping!

xx,

Linds
