Nuuly Haul: February 2023
I’m trying something a little different this time and sharing my Nuuly order earlier in the month than at the end of my order month in hopes you can snag anything that catches your eye in your order.
I find that I like things in my order so much more when I go in with a plan on what to order. Usually, it looks like this: date night outfit(s), coat(s), something cozy, and something I want to try. But this month I deferred from that and went straight cozy. It’s been chilly here in Ohio, I don’t have many plans this month, and I’m flying to Colorado for a work trip in the mountains at the end of the month, so I wanted all the comfy cozy pieces to get me through the wintertime blahs!
This is my third time renting from Nuuly, and so far I feel pretty good about my success average. The first two boxes each had two items that I chose the wrong size or just weren’t for me, and in this box I only have one miss - a pair of sweatpants that are way too tight. HERE’S WHAT I ORDERED THIS MONTH WITH NUULY:
This coat is totally not my norm, but I loved the pattern and the puffiness of it. This will be a fun coat to wear on not terribly chilly days here in Ohio and maybe out to dinner while on my work trip in Colorado. If you’re an Alabama fan, this is screaming you need it.
Addison Bay Varsity Quarter Zip
This piece is preppier than my go-to, but I loved the fun color combos and felt this would look cute with sneakers and jeans. It fits great. I ordered the matching sweatpants, but misjudged the sizing and ordered them way too small.
I love this pullover. It is so cozy, almost too cozy at times because I get hot when I wear it inside the house. It’s the perfect length! I originally wanted to rent it in the brown colorway, but they didn’t have my size available. 10/10 this Varley pullover is so good.
Varley Stratton Quarter-Zip Jacket
I really leaned hard into Varley this rental. I like this pullover, but I prefer the Appleton one. This one is lighter, so I can wear it around the house a bit more, but it has zippers on the pockets and I don’t like how it feels when I put my hards in my pockets.
Varley Cluster Jogger Sweatpants + Dress Forum Casual Cardigan
These joggers are so comfy. The material is unbelievably soft. Of all the items, I am tempted to keep these because my sweatpants/jogger stash has depleted in recent months. And I love this long cardigan as well. It is a bit pilly, but it’s a piece I don’t plan to wear out of the house. I rented it for cozy at home lounging sessions.
FINAL THOUGHTS:
This order feels like a win! Everything is cozy, and I know I will get a ton of wear out of each piece this month. Looking forward to wearing these pieces while in the mountains at the end of February.
